BS EN 1935:2002 – Single Axis Hinges
The hinge suitable for BSEN1935:2002 standard is available.
This European standard specifies requirements for single-axis hinges for windows and doors opening in one direction only, whose rotation axis is no more than 30 mm from the face of the sash or door. It covers both fixed pin and lift-off hinges, and contains additional requirements for hinges intended for use on fire doors.
Classification
BS EN 1935:2002 classifies door furniture by using an 8-digit coding system. Each digit refers to a particular feature of the product measured against the standard’s performance requirements.
Digit 2 – Durability
Three grades are identified for single-axis hinges manufactured to this European standard:
Grade 3: 10,000 test cycles, for light duty hinges on windows only
Grade 4: 25,000 test cycles, for light duty hinges on windows and doors
Grade 7: 200,000 test cycles, for medium, heavy and severe duty hinges on doors only
Digit 3 – Test door mass
Eight door mass grades related to single-axis hinges are identified in this European standard as shown in table below.

2. Can I get a free sample of Hinge?
Yes. We can provide some samples free of charge but it will be freight collect by buyer for delivery. If you want to customize a special sample, we can firstly CNC 2-3 pc samples in very short time, but it will cost engineering and CNC time.
3. How long can the sample be delivered?
The sample usually can be ready in our factory within 1 week. If you choose door-to-door express, the courier will take 3-6 working days.
4. How many models of hinge you have right now?
There are hundreds of different hinge models available right now, including Europe model, North America model, Middle East model, Russian model, Asia model, etc. Most of them are popular hinges in market. But some of them are special OEM hinges for special customer, which we cannot supply you without permission from original customer.
5. Can I have our own logo on product and packing?
Yes. We can imprint or laser the logo on product, and can print/sticker the logo on packing as well.
6. What is the annual capacity of your hinge production?
The hinge factory is equipped with more than 400 different kinds of punching machines, some of which are fully automatic. The annual capacity of hinge production is 800 x 20’ containers, around 80,000,000 pieces of hinges. There are also blister packing line in factory, we can supply blister packing for D.I.Y. Chain store.
7. I am looking for supplier who can O.E.M our product. Am I safe if I send our drawing to you?

Yes, we welcome sample or trial order.
Usually, our standard MOQ is 2000 - 5000pcs each model and each shipment.
For sample order, 1 piece or more is ok.
For trial order, more than 500pcs can be accepted.
9. Who are your main customers?

11. How long will the goods be shipped?
Within 30-60 days after order is placed.
The period depends on seasons and the difficulty of hinge production.
12. How to pay for the goods?
We accept Trade Assurance payment method.
The usual payment is 30% T/T in advance, and the rest 70% by T/T before shipment or 70% by D/P at sight via bank.
We also accept 100% irrevocable L/C at sight.
